Manna for the Soul

Love, Learn, Inspire

I am Carol Kasser,  a Jewish and interfaith chaplain. I perform weddings, renewal of vows, commitment ceremonies, baby blessings, and funerals for Jewish and mixed marriage families. I try to work within the traditions of those I am serving without violating the principles of my own beliefs. As a result, I try to create warm, personal ceremonies to match the personalities and needs of each family. I work in Philadelphia, Lower Bucks and Eastern Mongomery Counties in Pennsylvania and in much of New Jersey and Delaware. For more information, contact me at kass@mannaforthesoul.com.

I am an ordained interfaith chaplain with a background in geriatric chaplaincy. My ordination is from Universal Oneness United, a group that promotes respect and acceptance of all people. I perform Jewish, interfaith, and non-denominational weddings with a personal touch.
I attended the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College for three years and received an M.A. in Jewish Studies from Gratz College. In addition I earned an Ed.D. in English Education from Temple University and a B.A. in English from The University of Pennsylvania. I have certificates in Gerontology and Pastoral Counseling, and two units of C.P.E.(Clinical Pastoral Education).

To learn more about my books on gerontology and spirituality, as well as my textbooks and children's books, click on the Books icon at the top of the page.

I am available to do workshops, mini-courses or lectures on spirituality or aging. I also love doing readings/ craft projects at nursery schools, libraries, Hebrew schools, and elementary schools.
